The Rotary Club of Congleton was formed over 77 years ago. The club welcomes people with a little spare time who want to give something back to the community. The emphasis is not only on raising money to help worthy causes and local charities, but on being actively involved.
Rotary-Congleton runs a programme of events in town; it has a comprehensive programme of youth activities, working with all local schools and Rotarians who roll up their sleeves and assist. The environment team works with other groups leading to ideas to protect the environment and protect wildlife groups.
To bring together a diverse group of similar minded people who are passionate about making a difference.
Swimathon25 was another successful event when we raised over £20,000 which was split evenenly between the participating teams and the Rotary charities in supporting their own organisations and charities.
